Meredith Fitzpatrick’s Cycling Adventure – 3
Meredith Fitzpatrick’s Cycling Adventure – Week 3. Salt Lake City, Utah to Craig, Colorado.
The Fuller Center for Housing is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry with a mission to eliminate poverty housing worldwide. FCH creates partnerships between leaders of churches, schools, businesses and others who in turn select candidates from their local communities who are in need of affordable housing. In some cases this involves renovation of existing structures while in others requires new housing. Homeowners work with FCH and calculate terms they can afford including no interest monthly payments and length of term to repay the cost providing families with a quality home on terms they can afford. This process is a positive one as it provides a hand up rather than a hand out giving each recipient the opportunity to own their own home.
Working in more than 70 U.S. cities, from CA to NJ, and in 16 countries e.g., Haiti, Nepal and Nigeria the Fuller Center for Housing has created a way for more than 3,800 families to live in decent affordable housing.
